1. General instructions: Clean the skin around the stoma with warm water or saline.
2. Cut out a hole whose size matches or slightly exceeds the size of the stoma.
3. Place a bandage on the stoma to prevent discharge of secretions during attachment to the skin.
4. For a drainable colostomy bag:
- Open the clip.
- Screw the end of the bag onto the clip, turning it towards you.
- Close the clip of colostomy bag.
5. General instructions: Remove the protective paper cover.
A transparent film from the upper edge of the adhesive plate can be removed either immediately or after gluing the colostomy bag. The colostomy bag is glued to the skin around the stoma. The drain valve must be closed before the colostomy bag is attached.
6. Place the colostomy bag plate around the stoma and carefully press the adhesive plate to the skin. To ensure proper adhesion, carefully smooth the plate from bottom to top, pressing it tightly against the skin.
7. The one-component drainable colostomy bag is emptied without peeling off the skin. Open the drain hole and gently empty the bag into the toilet. After emptying the bag, do not forget to close the drain hole.
8. General instructions: It is necessary to remove the colostomy bag slowly, peeling it from top to bottom; with the other hand pulling the skin of the abdomen around the plate. Do not peel off the plate with a jerk to avoid mechanical damage to the skin.
9. Drainable colostomy bags should be emptied before disposal.
General instructions: For disposal of colostomy bags it is necessary to use plastic bags.
The colostomy bag should not be thrown directly into the toilet.
Dispose according to local regulations.
10. For nondrainable colostomy bag: reuse is not allowed.
For a drainable colostomy bag: clean and dry the colostomy bag for later use.

Store in a well-ventilated area with a relative air humidity of less than 80%, at the temperature of -10 °C to 40 °C, away from aggressive gases.
